CACIL is the advocacy and support organization for Connecticut’s Centers for Independent Living (CILS), which empower people with disabilities to take control of their lives. CILs serve people with all types of disabilities in all age groups, and work to remove barriers and prejudices in society so all individuals can live, work and enjoy all that communities have to offer. At least fifty-one percent of the staff and boards of CILs are people with disabilities.

AFT Connecticut is a statewide labor federation of more than 90 local unions throughout the state.

The Tobacco Merchant & Community Education (TMCE) Steering Committee guides and informs Connecticut’s tobacco and e-cigarette prevention campaign.
