The Auxiliaries in Glastonbury, Simsbury, Suffield and West Hartford raised the funds through selling new and used clothing, accessories, antiques, toys and household items at their Second Chance Shops.  The Second Chance Shops are run by volunteers.

“The four shops contributed a combined total of more than $400,000 to The Village this year—despite having reduced hours and volunteers—and have raised more than $6 million for The Village over the years,” according to the announcement.

The location and hours of each shop are as follows:

Glastonbury – located at 730 Hebron Avenue; open 11:00am-2:00pm on Thursdays.
Simsbury – located at 12 Station Street; open 10:00am-2:00pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
Suffield – located at 116 Mountain Road; open 10:00am-2:00pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
West Hartford – located at 175 Park Road; open 10:00am-2:00pm on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Donations are accepted during open hours. For more information about the Second Chance Shops, go here to call 860-461-7067.
